- After initially leaving the network on September 29, 2017, the Tom and Jerry franchise has made an unexpected return to Cartoon Network with its content being shown all day today, leading up to the premiere of the direct-to-video movie, Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz.
- As of this writing, its now been almost two decades since Tom and Jerry Kids last aired on Cartoon Network, with its last airing being March 23, 2006.
- Also, this marks the first time The Tom and Jerry Show has aired since October 3, 2019, and with it Cartoon Network premieres the 4th and 5th seasons with one segment from each airing today.
- Additionally, this is the last time Tom and Jerry and Tom & Jerry Kids aired before returning once again on June 4, 2024 for another Cheese Day marathon.
- Channel Errors:
- During the 12:00am airing of Unicorn: Warriors Eternal, the Adult Swim: Stream on Max bug reverted to the regular [adult swim] bug during the second act.
- During the Tom and Jerry Show segments Say Cheese, Dinner is Swerved, Don't Cut the Cheese, The Paper Airplane Chase, Cheesy Ball Run and Calimari Jerry, the NEW screenbug still appears, despite all of those episodes having aired on Cartoon Network before.
- The TV-Y ratings bug was used at the start of the Calimari Jerry short in The Tom and Jerry Show, and the TV-Y7 bug was used for the Tom and Jerry Kids shorts Catch as Cat Can and Father's Day, despite the rest of their paired shorts using the proper ratings of TV-PG and TV-G, respectively.
- Tonight's premiere of Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (2010) did not use the premiere bug, and it used the old [adult swim] ratings bug as opposed to Cartoon Network's. It used the Adult Swim "River" split-screen credits, complete with [adult swim] logo.
- The first hour of Tom and Jerry Tales used the Cartoonito split-screen credits layout.
